British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program conducts draws to select eligible candidates from the Express Entry pool for nomination to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
Candidates who are nominated by the BCPNP through the Express Entry Draw will receive additional points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) used by the Government of Canada to assess Express Entry candidates. This will increase their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in a subsequent draw from the Express Entry pool.
British Columbia conducted a new draw through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program(BCPNP) on January 17, 2023, inviting more than 190 candidates.
Out of 190 applicants, 154 invitations were sent out under the General Draw, including the Tech occupations under Skilled Worker and International Graduate, including Express Entry categories.
