In the latest Express Entry draw, IRCC issued 2,985 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) specifically for candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). To be considered, applicants needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 676.
This Express Entry PNP draw is one of the largest draws ever taken place for PNP only category. Unlike general draws that invite applicants from all programs, program-specific draws focus solely on candidates who have applied through a specific permanent residency program.
Today’s draw is also the first since April 24, following a month-long pause in draws. While IRCC hasn’t disclosed the reason for the pause, they’ve clarified that all draws this year will follow a predetermined schedule. The schedule, however, remains undisclosed.
IRCC also mentioned that the Draw size and frequency will be influenced by admissions targets for 2024 and 2025, as well as processing capacity.
