Alberta PNP Latest Draw Details
In the previous week, Alberta released details of three recent PNP draws conducted through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). Invitations were issued via Express Entry and non-Express Entry Dedicated Healthcare pathways, as well as the Express Entry Priority Sectors pathway.

Eligibility for Non-Express Entry Dedicated Healthcare Pathway
To apply through Alberta’s non-Express Entry Dedicated Healthcare pathway, candidates must fulfil the following criteria.
- Must have a valid job offer in a qualifying healthcare role from an Alberta employer.
- Language skills should meet at least CLB 5 or meet licensure standards for the profession.
- Licensed Practical Nurses must show how they met the language requirements for licensure. If qualified through employer verification of primarily English-based healthcare work, an AAIP-approved language test and CLB 5 in all languages are required.
- Clinical Social Workers need to submit a licensure exam or a CLB 5 language test.
- Must provide proof of meeting the practice standards set by Alberta’s regulatory authority.
- Should hold a valid work permit or have maintained status if currently employed in Alberta.

Eligibility for the Express Entry Stream
To be eligible under Alberta’s Express Entry Healthcare stream, candidates must meet the following requirements.
- Must be eligible for the Express Entry system.
- Should have a minimum CRS score of 300.
